Heartstart NOLA is a training and consulting group that focuses on education and skill development across all emergency service platforms.  What began in 2014 as a collection of training sessions for Fire and EMS agencies, HeartStart NOLA has grown to include all branches of public safety. Our company's goal is to improve response, education, and overall performance of emergency service agencies.  We offer in-house and off-site training, cost effective consulting services, and excellent customer service.

L.J. relle, BBA, NRP, CCP-C, FP-C

L.J. Relle is a career Firefighter/Paramedic serving the Greater New Orleans area for over 12 years. He is a veteran responder of Hurricane Katrina and many other man-made and natural disasters.  L.J. began his career in the Fire Service while he studied at Southeastern Louisiana University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.  L.J. has worked in various roles in high call volume Fire/EMS agencies, which has attributed to his experience and passion for improving response, training, and management in emergency medicine.  L.J. currently serves as an EMS and AHA Instructor for a 167-Member, Internationally Accredited Fire/EMS Agency.

Devon RElle, BS, NRP, RN, CFRN

Devon Relle is a Paramedic/Registered Nurse at Children's Hospital in New Orleans. Devon graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2007, after which she began her career in healthcare as a EMT, and subsequently as a Paramedic. Devon worked in a busy, metropolitan EMS system for over 10 years, and has since expanded her career in healthcare by transitioning into the hospital setting as an RN. Devon is an innovator, leader, and educator, remaining involved within her community by teaching various AHA courses to local public safety agencies. She is a member of the AACN, ASTNA, and ENA, and has most recently obtained her Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) Certification. Devon is enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing Program, with the goal of becoming an Acute/Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
